This would be my first blog for 2009. I have decided to start writing so that I can keep up with my writing skills. This would also be my first attempt at writing anything online for internet users to read. Kinda scary to think that users will be reading about me and my emotions and things that I put up here. So here goes nothing!
2008 is gone. 2009 is here (for now). Had a staff meeting at Sri Pelita Sec School on Jan 2 to get ready for the school to be reopen on 5th Jan. From 5th - 6th Jan we had orientation week in both the primary and secondary schools. I helped out with orientation at the primary school. It was fun but tiring at the same time. I was in charge of ice-breaking games. We did 2 ice-breaking games; both requires team-work and co-operation from members of the groups.
On 7th Jan, we had cross-country practise at Bukit Dumabr. Both primary and secondary students participated in the practice which started at 9.30 am and finished around 10.30 am. After that I went to the secondary school to teach.
The first few days of school have been chaotic as the school timetables were not ready yet. I will be teaching the same subjects; English, Adventure English and History at the secondary school. At the primary school I am teaching English as a Second Language to foreign students, Physical Education to K3, K4, K5 and K6 stdudents and Malaysia Studies to foriegn students. I am also in charge of the squash progamme for primary students during Co-Curicullum activities every Wednesday mornings.
